Adventure Leh-Ladakh from Srinagar to Manali

 

 

Pick up from Airport / Hotel by our driver and drive to hotel/houseboat. Check in at hotel / houseboat. Later proceed for Srinagar local sightseeing i.e. Mughal Garden, Nishant Garden, Pari Mahal, Shankracharya Temple. Evening enjoy the Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay at hotel/houseboat.

 

After breakfast check out from the hotel / houseboat and drive to Kargil via Sonamarg, cross Zodjila pass, Drass Village, Enroute have a magnificent view of kargil war peaks (Tiger, Tololing) from Vijay War Memorial Hall Site. Check in at hotel upon arrival & overnight stay at hotel in Kargil.

 

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Leh. Enroute visit Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Hall of Fame, Sangam. Check in at hotel and overnight stay at leh.

 

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft), enjoy the camel safari at Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay at Camp in Nubra Valley.

 

After breakfast check out from the Camp and drive back to Leh. Visit Deskit Gompa & monasteries etc. Check in at hotel upon arrival & overnight stay at hotel.

 

After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake en-route visiting Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh & Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and carry on further towards Pangong through Changla pass which is 5380 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. Lunch at Pangong. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Evening is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Pangong (Tented Camp with attached toilet). 

 

Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and drive back to leh en-route visiting Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Drive further to Leh and check in at your hotel, Overnight stay at Leh.

 

After breakfast, Leave for Sarchu, uphill curvy drive till Namkila 4950 mtrs, spectacular view of rugged rocks, over Lachulangla (5090 mtrs) descend to the gorge of cliffy Gangla jal to Pang, and further drive on vast plateau of Kyangchu-Thang (plateau of wild donkey) over Tanglangla 5332 mtrs, descend to the valley, passing by several villages of Ladakh. Check in at camp upon arrival. Overnight stay at camp in Sarchu.

 

After breakfast, Drive to Manali. Arrival at manali and drop at Manali Bus Stand for your onward journey.
